What GRN ROOM Does

GRN ROOM is a software platform operated by GRN ROOM LLC that enables groups of friends or family members to run a private, structured movie club online. The platform provides everything a circle needs to watch films together, even when members are in different places.

  • —Users create or join movie circles — private groups with their own identity and archive.
  • —Each week, circles select a featured film to watch.
  • —Members watch the film independently, on their own schedule.
  • —Before watching, members submit predictions about the film.
  • —After watching, members submit ratings and personal reflections.
  • —GRN ROOM generates a shared archive, AI-assisted editorial recaps, DNA-driven recommendations, and circle-level insights from each week's activity.

How It Works

  1. 1.Join a circle by accepting an invitation from a circle admin, or create your own.
  2. 2.Receive invitations and platform notifications via email and, optionally, SMS.
  3. 3.Participate in your circle's weekly film selection — vote for, or accept, the chosen film.
  4. 4.Watch the featured film independently during the week.
  5. 5.Submit your predictions before you watch, then your ratings and reflections after.
  6. 6.Engage in group discussions with other circle members.
  7. 7.Build a shared movie history — every film your circle watches becomes part of your permanent archive.

Why Users Receive SMS Messages

GRN ROOM LLC may send transactional SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in within the app. These messages are sent solely to support normal use of the GRN ROOM platform. SMS is never used for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • —Account verification — one-time codes sent when creating or verifying your account.
  • —Login authentication — one-time codes used to sign in securely.
  • —Circle invitations — SMS alerts when you are invited to a new circle.
  • —Weekly movie reminders — notifications when your circle's weekly film is announced.
  • —Discussion notifications — alerts when a group discussion opens for the week's film.
  • —Activity notifications — other account-related transactional updates.

GRN ROOM does not send marketing, promotional, or advertising SMS messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of using GRN ROOM.
